Inexpensive and eco-friendly, Maho Bay Camps on St. John has a secluded beach, dive center and a choice of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Maho has 114 tent-cottages on platforms connected by elevated walkways. Each tent has a terrace, separate sleeping area, propane stove and ice cooler, electric outlets, lights and fans. Shared bathhouses have low-flush toilets and pull-chain showers.

If you forget to pack the sunscreen, no worries. Maho's help-yourself center has an array of free items left by departing guests.
